The Pop Group Had a Song Title For This Sort Of Thing

In the partisan-hacks-with-venal-conflicts-of-interest-masquerading-as-journalists sweepstakes, Maggie Gallagher says she can’t be compared to Armstrong Williams because of the amount of money involved– his quarter of a million vs. her $21,000 or so.
Let’s look at it from the point of view of prostitution– a real stretch, I know– she’s proud of being worth $21,000 as opposed to $250,000? Girl, you need a better, uh, agent.
Moral relativity descends to new lows when people begin comparing compensation for unmitigated sleaze. The real perversity is that Gallagher’s columns all seem prepackaged with the same sanctimonious, lecturing tone. Integrity is optional in her world, as is shame.
