This one is from Record Store Day 2013. I believe it can only be had digitally, unless you want to shell out $22 plus postage for the LP on Discogs (which, of course, I do. I’m weird that way).
It’s been my favorite listening fodder all day, and I don’t see that ending anytime soon. A monster release of interest to anyone who’s into, say, a modern take on JJ Cale’s Caucasian-funk shuffle. Faint praise, that. Listen and come up with your own platitude, and that’s an order.
Have I mentioned lately how much I’m loving Bandcamp? And me, a distributor/label guy, who lives by the middleman. Oh well.
